Career Opportunities
The SUN Program gives students the opportunity to get an early taste of university, as well as an insight into the career in which they are interested. SUN offers courses from a variety of undergraduate programs.
About SUN
The SUN Program is an opportunity for high school students to enrol in university courses while they are still in high school. Note that SUN is not an enabling, bridging or preparatory program. The SUN program courses are undergraduate courses. Students need to have time management skills, self-discipline and motivation to be successful in the SUN Program. Applicants will need to meet particular entry requirements to be eligible for acceptance into the SUN Program. Applicants also need to have the support of their parents/guardian and school.
Students who pass SUN courses can have credits transferred to their QCE (Queensland Certificate of Education). Students who pass at least one SUN course and meet all the entry requirements and prerequisites of the undergraduate program in which the course belongs can apply for direct entry on completion of year twelve.
