ENEE13013 Digital and Analogue Electronics

Course details

This course introduces fundamental principles of digital electronics and operational amplifiers. Students design digital and analogue circuits to meet specifications by applying appropriate mathematical number systems, logic techniques and software tools. Digital design is introduced and applied to current technologies such as field programmable gate arrays. The course outlines operation and application of operational amplifiers and digital integrated circuits. Simulation software is used to validate operation of both digital and analogue circuits. Students develop the ability to analyse, model and communicate technical concepts and ideas and work together in a professional manner.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer and to make frequent use of the Internet.
