SOWK12012 Organisational Practice

Course details

Students should be able to analyse different theoretical models of human service organisation and how they are applied in human services organisations. They should be able to examine a range of variations of agency type and context and explore the potentials and dilemmas posed for service delivery within the context of the provision of human services The emphasis should be on students analysis of contemporary organisational and system change and development and how these processes can be implemented so that the social and welfare work values of social justice and equality of opportunity can be realised through the provision of services to clients.
