SOWK14011 Honours Project: Dissertation

Course details

Students should be able to specify a social issue, critically analyse the data and formulate conclusions from that data and then provide for the dissemination of those research conclusions at a level commensurate with publication of the research. The project should culminate with a scholarly paper of 10,000 - 12,000 words which will, within the scope of a limited dissertation, make a contribution to the knowledge of a particular social issue or phenomenon. The student will submit the dissertation for examination under a system of scholarly peer review.
