ENAR12009 Process Mineralogy & Analysis

Course details

This course is an introduction to mineralogy and analysis as applied to mineral processing. Students are expected to develop an understanding of process mineralogy and analysis as it applies to market value of the product in local and global materials, minerals and energy markets. The course considers costs of infrastructure and methods of extracting the minerals and analysing effectiveness with an emphasis on the coal industry. Students will investigate mineral processes and analysis in a defined context and carry out standard strategies and apply techniques for effective management.
