Course details

On completion of this course students should be able to describe the water cycle as modified by human activities and explain how water is collected, transported and treated so as to be available to support human activities. Students should be able to illustrate how stormwater and wastewater are collected, treated and disposed of (or recycled) so as to minimise their impact on the natural environment and outline the principles of planning and design of the components of the engineered water cycle.
