Course details

This course examines the critical role of the research outcome in Mode-2 society and identifies strategies for the transdisciplinary realisation of the candidate's field of critical inquiry. The course aims to identify the research position in terms of who will benefit from the applied nature of the proposed research and why it is needed.
The course provides a solid reference base for the construct of critical inquiry in terms of generating potential directions and solutions to the research problem within the context the applied research position. In this pursuit, the nature and application of industrial research are analysed with specific reference to the context in which the research will take place.
