Course details

This course, while exploring the theme, Establishing an Indigenous Australian University (IAU), focuses on learning in the university culture. It refers to the other cultures people live and work in. It requires us to examine our beliefs, values, and ways of learning. It draws on our knowledge and experiences to enhance understanding of how identity and learning patterns are formed. The connections between leadership, power, and knowledge and identity are examined. Such insights will be applied to the task of establishing the IAU. Practising the conventions of academic communication is emphasised throughout the course.
