ENTC12006 Hydrology and Water Engineering

Course details

Students analyse rainfall data and catchment properties and apply hydrological principles and methods to determine runoff from rainfall. They design stormwater drainage system components and explain the features and operation of municipal stormwater, water supply and wastewater systems. Students explain water quality standards and related measurement, testing, monitoring and risk management processes. They use civil engineering language in professional communications and reports, and develop communication skills and individual and collaborative working and learning skills.
