Course details

This course provides an introduction to the law of contract in Australia and will focus on the fundamental principles of a valid and enforceable contract. The course will examine the theoretical analysis of contract law; the formation of a contract including contractual agreement; intention to create legal relations; contractual consideration; promissory estoppel; and contractual capacity. Consideration will also be given to the contents and interpretation of a contract and the doctrine of privity of contract.
