ENAG11006 Professional Engineering Communication

Course details

This course introduces students to professional teamwork, communication, and individual and collaborative learning. Students will identify appropriate sources of information, research an issue and evaluate the quality of the information obtained. They evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses and develop personal goals and plans for professional development; they develop learning strategies and skills for preparing assignments, problem-solving projects, presentations and examinations, and identify areas they need to improve. It also develops an understanding of team work and workplaces, including strategies that can be used to deal constructively with conflict.
Distance education (FLEX) students will need to attend a residential school. They will also need to have access to a computer and to make frequent use of the Internet.
