ENTE12007 Instrumentation and Transducers

Course details

This course prepares students to select and use sensors and transducers to control engineering process. They investigate measurement and error reduction; and explain the operation and selection of sensors to measure physical variables. Students explain and apply signal conditioning approaches and communications protocols. They specify instrument interfacing requirements, compile the instrumentation design for specified control systems, and professionally document the selection and design process. They are required to communicate technical concepts and issues, and work individually and collaboratively in a professional manner.
