ENEE14001 Control Systems

Course details

In this course students develop knowledge and skills required design and implement control systems. They explain principles of and the function and use of components of control systems, and select appropriate components and interfaces. Students develop mathematical models and analyse the behaviour of dynamic systems to design controllers for these systems. They determine requirements for development of automated control systems, evaluate design options, prepare and implement a design, test and validate the control design. Students are required to communicate effectively in design teams and to present designs and concepts in everyday and in professional, technical language. They work professionally and productively in teams and individually, and undertake independent research related to course projects.
Distance Education (Flex) students will be required to attend a residential school to promote development of course learning outcomes.
