Course details

This course aims to enable health workers to critically evaluate performance within the context of achieving professional and organisational objectives. Today's emphasis in health care is on evidence-based practice and the achievement of optimum outcomes at a minimum cost. Contemporary work study, total quality management methods and evidence-based practice is described and their application within the health sector examined, using a case study approach wherever possible. An analysis of the issues uncovered will then lead to the development of innovative solutions associated with health service delivery and ways in which these solutions might be actualised.
