WELF19040 Working with Families and Groups

Course details

In this course, students will increase their knowledge of working with individuals by exploring the person both within the family context and within a number of different group settings. The course provides an introduction to the therapeutic and educational underpinnings of family and group work. Included will be an exploration of theoretical foundations to these areas of practice as well as opportunities to develop practical skills that can be applied out in the field. Students will be required to participate in online discussions as well as demonstrate their developing assessment and intervention skills throughout the course.
