MUSC21002 Jazz Workshop 1

Course details

This course focuses on the performance, presentation and professional skills required to prepare and present public performances. Students actively participate and perform in small jazz ensembles throughout the term, culminating in a public concert. The curriculum is tailored to meet the need of each student¿s learning needs and competency and employs both group and individually supervised delivery methods. Students will be required to present a number of works, including original compositions developed in Jazz Composition 1, and should demonstrate the achievement of the course outcomes in these presentations.
