ENEE14003 Embedded Microcontrollers

Course details

This course develops students’ knowledge and skills in the area of embedded processor systems development. Students describe and explain the architecture, characteristics and features of microprocessors and microcontrollers and to apply this knowledge to the implementation of embedded systems that perform simple tasks. They write simple programs for microcontrollers with peripheral devices, interfaces and interrupts and combine these capabilities to compose a microcontroller-based system that performs specified tasks. Students produce professional user documentation and technical support documentation for a complete microcontroller system
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer and make frequent use of the Internet.
