Course details
Students completing the Principal Music Studios series of courses will undertake a series of developmental practical music studies relating to their primary study area. In Principal Music Studios 6, using knowledge attained in Principal Music Studios 5, students further develop their skills through practical music studies relating to their primary study area. Students in the Jazz and Popular specialisation will engage in individually supervised practical music studies in one instrument, voice or composition, focusing on further development of advanced level repertoire and technical work. Creative Music Technology students will use a range of music technology equipment to engage in further development of advanced practical activities relating to recording, manipulating and creating music. Students are expected to demonstrate cumulative levels of skill and knowledge through this series of courses.
