COMM11111 Technical and Professional Communication

Course details

This course introduces students to elementary communication concepts and skills that are relevant to a future career within a technical profession, such as information technology, building, engineering, and information systems. Topics include communication theory and practice, small
group communication, oral and written communication, negotiation, teamwork, conflict, and ethical issues. All topics are discussed in a technical context with an emphasis on practical exercises and application.
