Course details
Transition Mathematics 2 A is the first part of a two-part mathematics course offered in the STEPS External program. In particular Transition Mathematics 2 A and Transition Mathematics 2 B provide a sound foundation for the study of the first year mathematics component of such degree programs as Engineering, Information Technology and Science (It has content similar to the Queensland Senior Mathematics B syllabus). Topics covered for Transition Mathematics 2 A include Functions and Graphs, Linear Functions, Quadratic Equations, Logarithmic and Exponential Functions, Inequalities and Absolute Value, Variation, Ratio & Proportion, Sequences and Series and Statistics.
