CG72 - Bachelor of Theatre (Specialisation)

Program Aim

At the completion of this degree program, graduates will have the following attributes:  

  • apply intellectual curiosity and artistic creativity within their own professional practice in Theatre;
  • be able to contextualise their professional endeavours within the best practices of local, national and international standards;
  • be highly articulate and literate in their understanding of current and emergent issues in Theatre;
  • show empathy, self-reflection and critical intelligence in the dissemination of skills and knowledge in their creative endeavours;
  • pursue knowledge and skills independently in their creative practice;
  • make critical, informed and sophisticated responses to new ideas, methodologies and theoretical frameworks in their professional practice;
  • provide leadership in international forums within the field; and
  • work competently and productively both alone and in groups.
Program Structure
To satisfy the requirements of the award, students must complete 24 courses/144 units of credit
