| Entry Requirements | Applications can be registered nurses: registered hospital based certificate midwives: or midwives wishing to upgrade their knowledge and skills. |
| Professional Accreditation | Graduates are accredited by the Queensland Nursing Council (QNC) for endorsement to practice as a midwife. |
| Residential School | There are two compulsory (1x6 and 1x7 day) residential schools at Mackay campus attached to this course. Plus a 20 hours on-line residential component. 2009 - First Residential School commencing 0900 hours 16th February - 21st February until 1530hours. 2009 - On-line Residential School Component commencing 6th July. 2009 -Second Residential School commencing 0900hour 26th October -1st November until 1530 hours |
