About the Master of Professional Education

The Master of Professional Education (MPE) is founded on the principles of effective education and allied future trends.  Three courses in particular respond to the practical needs of contemporary educators:  Assessment and Evaluation; Learning Management; and Managing Diversity. In addition, students are extended into the emerging fields of teaching in the context of the global economy and using e-learning.  Skills are developed for educational leadership and all students undertake a research project in their chosen field of professional education.  The program challenges students to expand the parameters of education while developing a traditional knowledge and skill base.
