CQUniversity provides a peer support program for all first-year undergraduate students to assist the transition into university life. All internal students (full-time/part-time) studying at the Sunshine Coast Delivery Site, Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Noosa and Rockhampton campuses are linked with experienced student mentors during the first day of the University's orientation program. - how to access the library, computers, and other services provided by CQUniversity;
- finding their way around university; and
- how to obtain relevant information about all aspects of university life.
The help received from a mentor can make a significant difference to a student's first year at university.
