Further information about ICE WaRM:

Drawing on the expertise of the five universities (Central Queensland University, University of South Australia, University of Adelaide, Deakin University and Flinders University) and the International Centre of Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM) involved in this initiative  demonstrates  Central Queensland University's ability to successfully engage in collaborative and innovative teaching arrangements that will have global reach and impact. The University's membership and participation in the International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management as a highly visible gateway to Australia's collective expertise and support in water management training, education and research provides a means for enhancement of its position in the global water community. Membership of the centre in conjunction with other leading Australian universities provides an environment for collaboration in teaching, research and consulting. The effective collaboration required for high quality delivery of the ICE WaRM programs can further enhance the university's approach to teaching and the administration required to support such a program across multiple providers.  It is not expected that the proposed program will impact on undertakings with other partners of the university, as broader Australian expertise in the area of Water Resources Management will be sought.

A Water Resources Management Course Advisory Group consists of several stakeholders including the CQU Water Resources Management Group, ICE WaRM - Board of Studies (CQU is a member) and the CQU Environmental Management industry advisory group. The Committee has been, and continues to be, involved in all aspects of program development including identification of learning objectives and outcomes, content validation, assessment issues, and matters related to the design and delivery of each course unit

A total of 72 units of credit or its equivalent is achieved through satisfactory completion of the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma together with the Masters.
