Course details
The students should develop a systematic progression of skills and expressive practicum in the realisation of the Art of Musical Theatre introducing Scene-Into-Song and Dance Company components in tandem with continuing singing tuition. The Scene-Into-Song class uses the voice within character and the intertwined possibilities and choices dictated by movement as a unified expression of characterisation. The Dance Company prepares formalized routines in dance only and song-and-dance routines in tandem with continuing technique classes in jazz dance, tap and modern idioms.
