SWHS21003 Groups and Community work in human services

Course details

In this course, students will critically review the central principles, ethics and values of professional practice in the human services when working with individuals (case work) and with families (family work). Students will engage critically with contemporary literature in these core areas of human services practice and will reflectively analyse case work and family work knowledge and skills for effective human services practice. Advanced understanding and skills in critical and reflective practice are developed.
