EDED20455 Supportive Learning Environments (Graduate Entry)

Course details

This course aims to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills required to promote supportive and inclusive learning environments. Firstly, it explores the concept of diversity in terms of the broad range of backgrounds and abilities that students bring to the learning environment. A study will be made of how to create inclusive and culturally responsive learning experiences that accommodate students’ diverse needs. Secondly, behaviour management models and policies are examined with the aim of developing a range of preventive and corrective pedagogies that promote a positive classroom climate and optimise learning outcomes for all students.
