DGTL20003 3D Animated Characterisation

Course details

Interactive 3D worlds establish virtual spaces wherein 3D characters may be assumed and 'driven' by world 'inhabitants'. The particpants may engage and interact with each other using socially recognisable cues afforded by programmed 3D animation routines and synchronous chat technology. In contemporary movies 3D computer generated characters have mostly supplanted traditionally 2D animated ones. This course encourages students to develop character routines for we-based or digital movie generes using Maya software.
