MDWF29001 The Contemporary Midwife

Course details

This course introduces the student to future role extension of the midwife in order to meet the changing needs of the maternity service clientele and to function across a range of life and environment health issues. Central to this course is career development in the areas of management, policy and decision-making and the developmental process of the midwife to embrace change and continue to provide care within the framework of continuum of care and primary health principles.
