COIT11224 Computing Systems

Course details

This course builds students strength in basic algebra, statistics and number representation leading to topics in computer systems such as data storage, data manipulation, operating systems, networking and the internet, algorithms and programming languages. These topics enable the student to view computing from the perspective of software and its design needs, and the mathematics required as a broad foundation to solve problems in IT. STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE COURSE COIT11221 SOFTWARE FUNDAMENTALS SHOULD NOT ENROL IN THIS COURSE.
