ENAE12010 Electronic Information Processing

Course details

This course extends students knowledge of analogue and digital circuits. Students analyse and design op-amp filtering circuits and voltage regulators. The course describes memory systems and data busses, analogue/digital converters, counters and registers in integrated circuits, and operation of large-scale integrated circuits. Students construct electronic systems, and work and study in teams and alone to solve problems, demonstrate professional communication skills and a capacity to find and use information required to design and build circuits.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer, to make frequent use of the Internet, and are required to participate in Residential School activities.
