DGTL20001 Animated Interaction

Course details

With the emergence of generative scripts, random routines, and 'unique game moments', artefacts that may once have been considered 'interactive' may now be considered 'pseudo interactive' and may, in the contemporary context, simply be described as 'active'. This course encourages students to research and to experiment with the emergent and innovative scripted image technologies that are enabling digital animation to transcend the boundaries of strictly narrative timelines and pseudo interactive routines thus providing more truly interactive computer mediated experiences.
