Course details

This course is offered to students to develop technical, creative and performance skills that integrate the acquired acting/dance/music skills into a workable synthesis. It will also provide an introduction into the functioning of the theatre as an institution and a study of the various roles of the people who work in theatre and their responsibilities. It will also address issues of basic theatre safety including fire evacuation and first aid awareness. This course aims to develop the highest possible interpretative and executant ability in the performance of the repertoire selected for this course. Each succeeding course in Production will require students to demonstrate a greater degree of interpretative and executant skill development.
