LAWS11054 Commercial Law

Course details

Commercial Law includes an introduction to the Australian legal system and thereafter provides a fundamental foundation in the law as it applies to general commercial transactions. The learning environment provided by this course encourages students to recognise the importance and implications of legal issues arising in daily commercial transactions by identifying the relevant legislation and case law and thereafter examining potential solutions to legal problems in commercial transactions. STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE COURSE LAWS11030 INTRODUCTORY AND CONTRACT LAW OR LAWS19031 COMMERCIAL LAW SHOULD NOT ENROL IN THIS COURSE.
