COIT12137 Objects and Data Structures

Course details

This course is designed to extend the students understanding of object oriented programming principles and data structures. In particular knowledge of objects, recursion, basic data structures (such as; stacks, lists, queues), advanced data structures (such as; trees, heaps, hashing, maps, sets, graphs), generic programming and programming with threads is covered. The students apply this knowledge in the solving of practical problems. The strength and weaknesses of the techniques are also considered.
