COIT13223 Bioinformatics Project

Course details

In this course a practical bioinformatics knowledge discovery project is undertaken. The project will provide the student with an opportunity to synthesise and apply knowledge and skills developed throughout the program. The course will serve as a consolidating experience for the student, providing a vehicle for the development and application of communication skills. The project will prepare the student for employment following graduation. Students may not enrol in this course until an approved Project Proposal has been developed by the student. Typically a Project Proposal template for the project will be provided by the course coordinator. The approved Project Proposal will form one component of the Project Report. To provide sufficient time to develop a Project proposal, students must contact the course coordinator at least four week prior to the start of term.
