This 1 year top-up program will consist of 3 consecutive one term offering of the following courses:
CPD8 Signalling Project Definition and Planning
CPD9 Signalling Project Implementation 1
CPD10 Signalling Project Implementation 2
It is proposed that each of the three courses will be available in term 1, term 2 or term 3.
The program is intended to allow the more academically capable signal engineering practitioners in the railway industry to develop a higher level of investigation/research skills, and to gain recognition in the form of a higher qualification.
The outcomes of the project undertaken by students in this program should help to push the boundary of professional practice in signal engineering and to benefit the railway industry.
Entry requirements
Full-time employment in the relevant field and agreement of support form employer (compulsory), and completed the first 5 courses in CF66 (Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling) with an average GPA of 5 or above.
Computing requirements (as required)
Students will need to have ready use of a computer with internet access.
