HonoursCA57 - Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)
Program Aim
This program will develop:
- knowledge in specialist areas of computing;
- skills which are fundamental to research; and
- competence in the communication of knowledge and ideas, both orally and in reports.
The entry requirement is a Bachelor of Information Technology degree or Bachelor of Informatics degree passed at distinction level or higher, or a qualification deemed equivalent. Students may be required to undertake preliminary study in the current Bachelor of Information Technology undergraduate program before commencing the Honours program.
Program Structure
The Honours program consists of the equivalent of 3 coursework courses and an Honours thesis (project). Students should discuss and arrange course selection with the course advisor to ensure their course selection reflects a coherent theme.
