The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a program of supervised research and study leading to the submission of a thesis which makes a significant original contribution to knowledge.

Research is an integral part of Central Queensland University's purpose.  There is a strong commitment to the conduct of cutting-edge research in new areas which challenge the boundaries of the traditional disciplines to provide distinctive research opportunities and solutions for staff, candidates and sponsors.
The Associate Dean (Research and Innovation) is responsible for the management of the Faculty's research portfolio by planning and monitoring the Faculty's directions and activities in research and postgraduate research training.
