NURS12140 Disease Management and Control

Course details

NURS12140 Disease Management & Control looks at aspects of disease management and control including principles of microbiology, structure and function of important biomolecules and pharmacology. The physiology and biochemistry of drug metabolism in the body, and the individual's reaction to drugs are explored. Students will examine the principles and methods of drug administration. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and Internet. This course is only available to CQ23 students. Students may study this course in either internal or flex mode. For students who elect to study the course in flex mode they will be required to attend a 3 day residential school.
