JALC11001 Introduction to Japanese Language & Culture

Course details

This course is designed to provide students with an introductory survival knowledge of contemporary Japanese language, culture and customs. It aims to develop basic communication skills with emphasis on the socio-linguistic aspects of Japanese culture and customs. Wide ranges of contemporary Japanese customs and popular culture are also introduced. This course will be of value to students with a wide diversity of study and career interests.
