THTR11099 Stage Craft and Design

Course details

This course enables students to become fluent in the language of technical theatre and its practical applications. Students will discover the basic principles of stage design and production. The emphasis is on acquiring practical skills and a knowledge of staging from a set building, lighting design and operation, and sound operation and recording. Information Communication Technologies and a range of other technical devices and processes will assist design. Principles in costuming for performance are included again utilising technological advances.
