ENEV23001 Research Methods

Course details

This course serves to provide students with an insight into research design, qualitative and quantitative research techniques and the determination of appropriate sources of data. A range of data collection procedures, measurement strategies, questionnaire design, interviewing techniques and content analysis is explored. The importance of literature surveys and information databases is highlighted. Students are introduced to probability testing, inferential statistics and the use of computers. Also students are shown ways in which to evaluate and writing research reports and to develop of a research program.
