Course details

This course investigates the inter-relationships between the water cycle and aquatic ecosystems functioning of the global water system. It explores the evaluation of the impact of human exploitation and interactions on different aquatic ecosystems and water sources. Issues relating to water use and the ecology, biodiversity and functioning of lakes, rivers, estuaries, wetlands and floodplain ecosystems are highlighted.
