NURS13112 Complex Nursing

Course details

This course further explores the theory and practice of nursing within a multi-cultural society. Students will explore client responses to complex alterations in health and develop a theoretical understanding of nursing care to these client responses. Working within the nursing laboratory and a variety of health care settings, students will develop advanced skills of biopsychosocial assessment, planning and delivery of nursing care, the evaluation of nursing care in meeting the needs of individual and group clients adapting to acute or complex alterations in health at all stages of the lifespan. Students undertake 24 days of supervised clinical practice in various health care settings. There are compulsory on-campus workshops for this course. It is a requirement of this course to have access to CQU website and Internet.
