INDG19016 Contemporary Indigenous Issues

Course details

This course examines the nature and function of traditional Aboriginal and Islander societies and the changes in these which have contributed to the emergence of contemporary social forms, structures and function. From this basis the course analyses the complex social problems and dysfunctions which have accompanied changes in traditional social fabrics, and the aspects of government social policy aimed at ameliorating such problems.
