RELG19002 Religious Traditions and Rituals

Course details

This course addresses the needs of students wishing to teach religious education in Catholic schools by providing opportunities for students to develop a broad adult knowledge base and understanding of the religious beliefs and practices of Christianity. Specifically, the course explores the development of Christian traditions and rituals, offers a special study of sacramental theology and liturgy, and engages students in critical reflection on contemporary issues and experiences in light of traditional Christian beliefs and practices. Students seeking employment in private or government schools may also benefit from this course.
