OCHS20031 Law and Management of Occupational Health and Safety

Course details

This course will provide the learner with opportunities to problem solve current OHS management challenges. The historical development of occupational health and safety as a discipline, common law concepts and relevant statutes as applied in the workplace are major themes. Learners will reflect on the relevance of generic management skills and organisational behaviour theories within the OHS context. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and internet.
