Course details

The course aims to examine current thinking in the field of health economics and its role in the planning of health services both nationally and internationally, including the structural adjustment programs of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, on developing countries. The content includes health economic concepts underlying financing, budgeting, costing, operational appraisal and evaluation at federal, state and regional levels.
